If you are a Salsa fan, this place is perfect for you with its 300 m2 dancefloor. People dance here Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Latin Jazz. Their wide selection of coctails is also enjoyable. Salsa contests take place often in this pub so also those ones will find a lot of entertainment, who don’t dance, only watch. If you would like to learn Salsa, Salsero Mayor offers you classes from Monday till Thursday.

Club Eshavira

This place is open for 18 years now. Its walls are covered with photos of famous flamenco dancers. If you like live flamenco music, you will find this place very entertaining. Normally live music takes place on Wednesdays and Thursdays, when there are jazz bands. The flamenco nights are on Sunday. On these nights there is usually an entrance fee(one drink included).


Bagdad Café

If you feel like having a coffee, pop in to Bagdad Café. A relaxed atmosphere will welcome you during the day, but they are also opened during the night. They offer you a wide range of tea, herbal infusions and coffee. Some Thursdays concerts take place here.

El Duende Bar
Carrera del Darro 7, Lower Albaicín

Al Duende Bar used to be a restaurant, and some years ago it was converted into a reggae bar. They play reggae music of the ´60s. This place has also a dance floor, which is actually a renovated “aljibe”, water cistern. If you a like reggae music, ska this place is the right one for you.


La Fontana
Carrera del Darro

This pub is situated on the beautiful Carrer del Darro, in the prettiest part of the Albaicín. In the afternoons you can enjoy their teas and coffees in a very refreshing and quiet enviroment. However the atmosphere changes a whole lot during the nights. Becomes an area for partiing. You will listen to music such as blues, rock, hardrock. There is also a billiard table available.
