Elvis Crespo

Elvis Crespo mainly plays Merengue, even if he also sings Salsa. Born on the 30th July 1971 in New-York, he moved as a kid to Puerto Rico. At 17, he plays with Willie Berrios band and with Tono Rosario. He then became the lead singer of Grupo Mania. Three years later, Sony launches his solo career. His first album 'Suavemente' has been nominated for the 1999 Grammy's Awards for Best Tropical Album. The second album 'Pintame' received this same Grammy's and reach 4 million sales.
