Primavera Sound Festival

Its first edition was held in 1995 and since then, the Primavera Sound Festival has been dedicated to electronic music. It takes places every year at the end of May – beginning of June in Barcelona, in the Port Area. This festival always presents the most modern electronic music, especially house, techno and indie, bringing together internationally famous bands and deejay’s. Nevertheless it also offers the opportunity of performing at a big European event to emergent artists of all over the world.

At the 2006 edition there were six stages where the concerts were going on during the three days and where bands such as Motörhead, Dinosaur, Yo la Tengo, Violent Femmes, Surfin’ Bichos, Big Star, Killing Joke and Flaming Lips performed.
