Viña Rock

Since 1996, when the first edition of this festival was held, the Viña Rock has been continuously improving and becoming more and more famous and without doubt the biggest Spanish rock festival. In 2005, at its 10th anniversary edition, it was attended by 65.000 people and the 2006 edition managed to gather even more spectators: there were indeed 75.000 people!

This annual festival usually occurs in April – May in Villarrobledo, in Albacete, and features local artists as well as the best national rock bands. It lasts three days and includes five stages where the concerts go on from early afternoon until morning. Here you can enjoy not only the best rock of the moment, but also other activities such as the traditional football match between spectators and musicians or the graffiti-competition. Although this festival has changed a lot from its first edition, it is still preserving its original transgressor and alternative spirit. It is an event not to be missed for all those who like good music and are also looking for fun!
